An old woman, Dobra, dies and becomes a ghost. She longs to reach and haunt her granddaughter: Zuza. But on her way stands yet another family spirit: Zofia, Zuza’s mother. Longing to escape them both, Zuza dreams of leaving for a life abroad. Yet before she can set off, she must confront the ghosts of her family and the past that refuses to let her go.
